Hi, my name is Ann and I live in the Katy area. I am also the proud new Secretary of the H-Town Camaro Club. My husband and I are huge Chevy fan's, and we have several Chevy vehicle's: 2010 SS Camaro, 98' Z71 4x4 Pick-up, 70' El Camino, and 00' Tahoe.
I grew up around motor heads, and my husband and I had a 71' Chevelle 454 that was we raced at the drags so I can kinda keep up with the boys when they start talking engines ;) . I have been married for 23 years and have 3 children that are 19, 17, and 16 (yes...I am living in teenage hell!!!). I am originally from Tulsa, OK and moved here from the New Braunsfel's area about 11 years ago. I look forward to many great meets and events that we can share together with our families and the friendships that will be made!

I have never been in a car club before, and I've never felt this way about another car I have owned. It is just awesome. It is great to get to know you all, I just have to remember some of the newer faces from the last meeting and tie them to their usernames.

Several members had their pictures posted and there were alot of pictures from the Camaro day they had at Hennessey a couple of weeks back too. It seems like it archives after a certain time frame or something...

To be honest, the day before I took those pics, I only used soap, water, and good ol' fashioned elbow grease...lol. I'll definitley look into that stuff though. Thanks for the info.

Hey Jdeshler - I work for NOV too!!! I have had my Camaro since June, but it sounds like you may have just gotten yours. We work at the same facility too (Bammel). It will be great to meet you. I drive the Black 2SS, parks in the front lot. Don't know if you have seen it or not. As of yesterday though, it is in the shop. Getting the recalls/bulletin service done, spoiler bolts done, and repainting the trunk/Deck lid (I think they call it) because the loose spoiler chipped off a good bit of paint. Anyway, welcome to the club, and if I dont meet you prior to the meeting, will meet you there!!!

We havent' done Baytown yet but a the Camaro Nationals will be sponsored by the club in Sealey TX... I have the Texas Mile on my Bucket List...

I thought about waiting and getting a Z28. I decided I'd rather have an SS and build it up with the money left over. After this first round of mods I'll slow it down and enjoy it for awhile until I save up some more money and start spending again.

My name is Nathan, and I am addicted to camaros. It has to be one of the sexiest cars out there. I purchased mine last month and its been a joy to drive. Sometimes i find myself just making excuses to go to the store or go somewhere just so I can drive it. Anyways enough about my obsession. To be honest i dont know alot about cars. I am not mechanically inclined (more of a computer nerd i guess) but i am doing my best to learn about cars, how they work, and about the different types of them. I own a metallic gray 2010 Camaro 2SS RS, L99 Auto. The only mod i have done so far is a K&N CAI.

I am a 27 year old Army technician over at Ellington Field. I have a wonderful wife who has been very supportive of my new obsession, a 2 year old girl, and a 5 year old boy who just loves to tag along with me on my joy rides.

I came across your forums while browsing the camaro5 forums and decided to check it out. Thats about it for an intro. I'll keep browsing over the forums and see what else is going. I'm pretty interested in joining up with yall, and it seems there are good times being held.

Just bought a 2011 Black SS/RS live in Cypress Texas. Looking forward to some meeting some of yall, just getting back into cars again. The mods are already starting and being installed in the next couple days. I have had the car maybe a week. I have had all kinds of sport cars over time, started back in 98 with a white SS camaro, heads/cam TH350, transbreak ect, then 02 MY Z06, 04 Black CTS-V. Got into motorcycles and got out of cars for a while. Was a fun run and might get back into that doing trackdays, as it is always fun to drag knee at the tracks LOL.

Thanks everyone, car is a the shop should have it back and dyno tuned in a day or so. First round of mods are TSP cam, Kooks headers, Roto CAI, dyno tune, and if I can find springs quick enough 1.25" drop. Then start working on a pro-charger in the comming months on stock motor for a month or so and then forge the motor, rods and pistons ect. The only issue I am having right now is what kind of rims to put on the car, they will be 22's and keep the stockers and put some drag radials on them. The end result of the car is to get it in the 800+rwhp range and have room to grow from there. Have a few friends that have 900+ rwhp Z06's.

i have had the car for about 3 weeks...2ss coupe...really wanted a vert but could not get it in the right color combo so i settled for my coupe...i live in north houston off beltway and veterans....so far i have done the hids...plasma fogs...some tint....got wheels over the weekend....crossdrilled rotors and cat back will be here by the end of the week.....i have been bit by the mod bug....have to get er done while i have paper tags...thats the most fun...pics to come

and IF someone brings the CLUB CARDS with them....you can pick up some at our next meeting.....so if you see a car in a parking lot that you don't recoginize, or actually get to talk to the owner....you can give them one of our cards, which had the web address on it so they can come home and join us!

This is my 1st chevy beast of a car, lol. I am new to the camaro world, and like to ask questions and research idea's when it comes to mod's. I work as a retail manager, and often weekend meets are hard for me to attend, but I will attend as much as possible. Glad to have found the HTCC.

My Uncle retired from Delta years back. He was flying the L1011 back then. Back when he started the cockpits would have grease all over in them... getting all over your uniform.

On his final flight before retirement he came in to DFW. They were setup to do the firetrucks with water over the aircraft as he taxied. As he cleared the runway there was an emergency and all the trucks had to respond to a fuel spill. lol
