2011 Hooters Camaro VS. Mustang Car Show - Sept 10th

OK... you all asked for it, so it's on again. We have teamed up with the Northside Mustang Club again toput this one on. Time to smak down the Mustangs in numbers. Top 10 cars in each class wins a Trophy. They vote for our cars and we vote for theirs.

Hooters on I45 and 1960. Show from 1 to 5. Registration from Noon til 2PM. Of course there will be deals on Hot Wings and Hooter girls to hand out awards.

We really enjoyed this last year. Brit and Robin were grading mustangs for awhile.

We enjoyed meeting several of the mustang group and talking cars. We even setup photos of GRN ENV and a mustang that was painted Green Envy.

Well most peeps will hit it from I45 north, and I come in from 45 South. So, depending on what freeways all will come in on to get to 45, we could possibly do a meet south of town and one north of town. I will hit 45 just north of Beltway 8 South, near Fuqua and Almeda Genoa. I will probably plan on leaving around 10 or so, give plenty of time for additional meet ups on the way there if anyone wants. I will watch the thread for confirmation of who, where and when if anything comes together.

For all the people that are from the SOUTH, Sharron this includes you....., and all the folks from the PEARLAND/LAKE JACKSON area, then theres the folks from the Katy area, and then theres ME.... a good spot for us all to meet up and go in together would be our regular meeting spot on the corner of I45 and Airtex in the Valero Station.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO we will meet up at the Valero Station at 14850 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77090, the corner of I45N and Airtex, just outside the Beltway. We will LEAVE, AS IN ROLL OUT at 11 a.m. its only about 3.5 miles to the Hooters.

I live in Cut N Shoot. She is usually pretty dirty once a week. Sometimes she gets multiple baths.

Yeah I've gotten into the habit of washing it once or twice a month. Glad it's starting to get cooler again so I can get back to washing it more regularly. Also on a side note, what's a good product for wiping down the engine bay? I know mine isn't as clean as the outside of the car is so any pointers are greatly appreciated.

Hey Moni... I honestly don't know of a "good" place to meet right around Fuqua and Almeda Genoa, except for Almeda Mall. But since it is on the South bound side of I-45 it might be tough to stay together all the way to get on the freeway headed north. If you don't clean regularly under the hood then it'll get pretty nasty. If your engine bay is really dirty I suggest foamy engine bright. Spray on as directed.

I wipe down hoses with tire shine. Detailer on painted covers and such.

Welcome to the H-Town Forums Kyle... when we go to places like Katy and Pearland a lot of us from Conroe and Spring usually meet up down I45 around Richie Rd. This time the meet is pretty close for us so it seems the up North crew is just meeting there.

Unfortunately my Camaro isn't going to be ready. The built 6 speed tranny that finally arrived from Rockland was locked up tight and had to be sent to a shop they use in Dallas to be opened up and inspected/reassembled. I'll probably still come but it'll be in the Porsche.

first camaro show i been too it was great had loads of fun food was great all the cars looked AMAZING, everyone was supercharged, all of the cars looked great, not trying to bash on anyone but that custom maroon t top fifth gen kinda blew all the rest out of the water i was amazed by it. all of the cars looked great but that ttop fifth gen really got my attention i loved the way it looked. online the red ttop converted camaro looked aight not really that great till i saw this maroon one in person it was fcking amazing.5606560756085609 their cellphone pics so if they dont look good im sorry.. i wish there was some more f bodies there too!! i saw one a white z28, i wouldve entered mine but its just a v6 daily driver 200k miles needs a little bit of fixing up, but i wish there were more f bodies there. not bad tho i had lots of fun all the cars were great!!
