My suggestion is for you to take your car back to your tuner.....whom ever that may be.

You moved your rear O2 sensors back. These need to be tuned out. You'll need a tune w/ headers anyway so have your tuner handle it

I dont have a tuner. I installed the headers myself last weekend and was waiting on getting my intake before I had it tuned. Guess Ill just tune it early.
I was planning on having ARD tune my baby. Heard so many great things about him theres no way im having any one else tune it. Any one know what it costs to have the car tuned? Do i need a chip? Wonder if I can get it tuned on DynoDay?

You don't need to buy a chip. I don't want to speak for Owen, but it is a simple 15-20 minute job to upload a tune to set the O2 sensors to Ready.

They give a club discount for members like yourself so I'm not sure the exact charge but they could probably jump on yours early and get it done. At a minimum the code fix doesn't take long...

Throwing a CEL for P0420 should also result in a CEL for P0430. This is basically telling you that your vehicle is not used to all the gases going through the rear O2 Sensors. When the CEL is thrown, your vehicle will pull timing and increase fuel on its own so that you do not harm the engine. While you can still drive the vehicle, it is best to get the tune ASAP, not just turn the sensors off. If you just turn the sensors off, your vehicle will return to stock settings which could be worse depending on your driving style because the ARH headers are increasing the Volmetric Efficenty of the engine and your injectors can't adjust enough through the Factory Tune. Give Owen a call and tell him your mods and he can get you tuned up in probably about an hour with what you have listed. Get the car running good and come out racing on Sunday!

@ James: Thanks for the info. Very good to know since my driving style is not very aggressive usually and especially if I know I have a code for something. (Dont wanna hurt my baby) Only got one code so far. Hope to have it tuned next weekend.

I gotta say, I love installing stuff myself for the know how and experience, but theres always more to it than you think. Thank God for tuners/specialists! Im taking all my big jobs to you guys!
