The San Jacinto Corvette Club is hosting a driver education day at GrandSport Speedway Oct 25th.

The event will be limited to 60 cars, in four run groups with twenty sessions to give ample track time. Novice drivers will have instruction to maximize a learning experience and the inital track time will be a lead follow format. Our goal is to be a better and safer driver on the street or at the track. Unsafe driving will lead to ejection from the track with out refund.

Snell rated helmets are required ( we may have some you can use for your session), cost is 110.00 per car, two drivers per car if you are in the same run group. You will need to bring sun lotion, water. Lunch is 10.00 per person.

We will have timing setup at the end of the day so you will get timed runs.

Please let me know if you can attend so I can get you pre registered.

You will have all day to learn driving skills and get to know your car.

Directions, south on I45 to exit 15, stay on feeder road to FM 2004, go west on 2004 to Hwy 6 in Hitchcock, cross Hwy6 go 2 miles to Grandsport Speedway on the left, watch for the sign.
Gate opens at 8.00 for registration, drivers meeting is at 9.00

We had a great day at the track 34 cars total. Everyone had lots of track time and are looking forward to the next event.

The Camaro did very well ( Fastlane modded) he had pedders coil overs and will have sway bars for the next event.

The Challenger did a good job also.

We are all going to work on the driver mod next.

If you would like to take a few laps around the track( when we do not have an event) let me know as I am there several weekends during the month.
