There will definitely be a large group going on Wednesday. I would even consider that day as well, but I need to get there in time to get keys from the track and some stuff organized on Wed and I fear the large group will be a tad slower. Thursday is vendor setup day so I'll be up early too.

However, the FUN FACTOR goes way up with the Wed group and if you've never been to CFest before the cruise there is much of the fun. In the past we've always stopped in Tunica and stayed at a casino. Made for a nice dinner and a little gambling, then a short drive in on Thursday leaving plenty of time to settle in and make the meet and greet. There is really no other good place to stay overnight as the Camaros attract a lot of un-wanted attention and we always have valuables in the cars etc. Casino parking garage provides a bit more security.

This year some are doing Thursday NCM track so a straight drive though on Wed should work well for them.

Expunge (Dave), Howie and I, drove it in one shot coming home year before last, and it wasn't bad at all. We left at 6:30 am, made a few stops, and i pulled into my driveway at 7:30 pm in Richmond.

ok, thanks, i'd like to get an early start, and not go through Houston during rush hour morning traffic. So if you leave 3 am on tuesday, that put you there 3 pm Wed right?

That will put you in at 3PM on Tuesday.

I don't have Tuesday off at this point so probably looking at a Wed departure. Definitely up for the straight through though.

Sounds like we can start planning an EARLY Wednesday departure heading straight through to Bowling Green.

OK... I've started the thread on C5/6 with maps. Maybe others will join us along the way if we post up over there.

We can make changes or adjustments as we chat about it.

Hey Mike Lee. Just wanted you to know that Bryce's closed their doors on April 30th after serving the Texarkana area for 86 years. Maybe Brown's restaurant in the Benton area is an option.

Is anyone leaving early Wednesday trailering their car? If so could I borrow trailer space for extra set of wheels and tires?
