Default Used LS3 mufflers taking up space in your garage?

If anyone has replaced their LS3 mufflers or is thinking about it I'm pondering putting them on my V6. Please let me know, I'm not looking to spend a bunch of money as I may take them back off depending on the sound.

There is no reason to put those mufflers on because they are extremely silent. You are better off going aftermarket.

I think my current mufflers are extremely silent hehe. I'm looking to get just a little louder purring. Aftermarket I would be looking at the MRT 2.0 but don't want to spend that kind of money and have it be too loud for others ears. If I was single it wouldn't matter much

I have the LS3 on my V6, and trust me they are not silent! Deeper tone than the stock V6 cans but a little raspy on hard take offs. Some low RPM power loss too.

But this was a cheap mod to change the tone and hold me over until I save up enough cash for the SOLO Mach XLT's.

Toxan, we can get together anytime so you can hear for yourself...videos don't do justice to anything out there!

I've got a line on some L99 mufflers which supposedly don't have the raspy tone of the LS3's. I'm looking forward to hearing yours Tie. I agree that recordings and videos usually don't sound the same as in person. I'm pretty sure I don't want to go cat back yet, just looking at mufflers.
