Great Paint and Body Shop
I know of a great shop here in Katy that has been doing custom paint jobs for corvette club members and other show cars that has a great reputation for doing awesome work. They are a group of really nice guys.

You can ask for anyone, but feel free to request Daniel who is the owner.

They are located in the shopping/warehouse strip right along East bound I-10 feeder road behind Discount Tire in Katy between Mason and Westgreen.

The owner's name is Daniel and he is well know in the car club circles. They don't advertise much because they stay busy through word of mouth. I called him today and asked how much they charge for powder coating the Camaro wheels and got the following info:

For the 21" wheels- $100.00 per wheel if they are brought in ready to paint, aka, with tires and studs already off. The exception to this is RED, which cost more. The turn-around time is 2-3 days right now.
If you bring the wheels in with tires still on or on car the additional charges will be whatever Discount Tire charges to dismount & remount them. Also, he told me to let you guys know that the tire sensors are sensitive on the Camaro's and can be damaged during the dismount/remount. If that happens you will have to purchase new sensors, but because of the business that his shop brings over to Discount they take extra effort to take great care of your wheels.

Also, something for anyone else interested in powder-coating their wheels, Daniel said he could do the wheels for apx. $80-90 (once again, not including red) a piece if several people wanted to do them all together and all the same color. Example: All of 3-4 members wanted to powder-coat their wheels black, we could take our wheels/cars in together to be done all at once. He can take the discount off because he doesn't have to clean equipment and shop down in between colors.

He has some pictures of completed work to view, and I asked him to put on jpeg for me to publish here at the site. They also do great custom paint jobs with flames and graphics, etc.
